How to score it

  1. For each question, circle the letter of the answer that fits your child best right now.
  2. In the table below, find that letter in the question’s row and give 1 point to the age range in that box. If the box shows more than one age range, split the point equally between them.
  3. Add up the points for each age range. The one with the most points is the page to start with.
  4. If the runner-up is within 1.5 points of the top score, read that page too.
